No, you do not have to check with us prior to sending a firearm for transfer. We do kindly ask, after you’ve completed your purchase with the Seller, that you fill out the “Transfer In” form, located here.
After you’ve filled out the form on our website, all that’s left to do is patiently wait for the firearm to be delivered to us. Once it has, we will need some time to process it into our inventory.
* Please note that due to an influx of Transfers, processing may take up to 1 business day
As soon as we have your firearm processed in, we will send you an email with a link to make an appointment for your NICS Background Check and to finalize the transfer.
Yes, you can transfer up to 5 items at a time during the same Background Check session. Please be aware that each item will carry it’s own $20 transfer fee.
Some websites have us listed by our old business name “10 Buck Transfers“. It is perfectly OK to use that info, we will get the Seller an updated copy of our License, if needed.
For some reason, some websites have our zip code as 85741, so you can try to find us using that, as well.
If the Seller allows you to bypass the FFL shipping section for the time being, just fill out the form located here and in the “Transaction Info” section, you’ll see a field titled “Was Our FFL On File?”, select “No” and enter the Seller’s email address in the provided space. This will automatically send the Seller a copy of our License.
Gunbroker has our FFL License on file and will, in most cases, automatically send the Seller a copy of our License after you’ve selected us as the receiving FFL Dealer. If not, just fill out the form located here and in the “Transaction Info” section, you’ll see a field titled “Was Our FFL On File?”, select No and enter the Seller’s email address in the provided space. This will automatically send the Seller a copy of our License.
If you’ve filled out the form located here and the Seller still has not received a copy of our License, it is usually because our email has not made it past their SPAM filters. The email that is automatically generated and sent to the Seller, contains an attached downloadable image of our License that some filters don’t like. Contact us at: email@example.com with the Seller’s email address and we’ll get a copy to them right away!
I truly make every effort to be around for all deliveries. Unfortunately, as a one-man crew operating out of my home, it is simply impossible for me to be here 24/7/365.
If a delivery is missed, please let me know via text at: (520) 222-7664
Most shipping services will attempt to re-deliver on the next business day, however I need to actually re-schedule delivery with USPS.
We take some items in on consignment for resale, acting as a “Broker” between the Buyer & Seller. The consignment fee is $35/Handgun & $50 for everything else. The fee for Accessories is $20 or 10% fo the sale, whichever is greater. This is an Administrative fee, is payable upfront and is charged whether the item sells or not.
Whenever an item is listed for sale with us, an Email blast called “⚡New Item Notification” goes out to each and every Client that is subscribed to receive our Newsletters (currently around 600).
An asking price will be determined as well as a bottom-line price. If a Buyer offers anything above the bottom-line price, the item will be sold without any prior notification to the Seller. Any offer below the bottom-line price will be forwarded to the Seller for consideration. Once an item is sold above bottom-line or an offer is accepted by the Seller, the item is considered sold and may not be reclaimed.
All consignment items are processed into our inventory and become the legal property of 1STLOD. This means that, should you need to reclaim the item, you will need to fill out a new 4473 Background Check form, before the item can be relinquished back to you.
We can technically hold onto a firearm for you for as long as you need, but realistically it’s easy run out of space in the safe. In this case, we will simply contact you and kindly ask you to come by at your earliest convenience.
We are a home-based FFL Dealer and therefore do not keep an “inventory” of firearms in stock. From time-to-time, we do handle consignment sales for our Clients which we blast out via email newsletters we call “For Sale Fridays”. If you’d like to be added to our mailing list, please shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org asking to be added to the FSF list.
We’ve heard great things about the CCW Course at Diamond Back Shooting Sports. More info can be found here: http://dbacktraining.com/courses/concealed-weapons-permit/
Unfortunately, we are not able to transfer Suppressors/Silencers as our FFL License does not cover those items.
